   I have a sump for my 54 and have microalgae in it. Well I moved the light out of my way and didn't move it back. The whole sump is brown as is the algae. Is there something else I could use? It isn't really designed to be a fuge, the algae is in a breeder box net. Or would you just replace the algae?

   I am confused on what you mean. What light are you using? Did it start creating algae after you moved the light and does that mean no light or just moved farther away? Does it get any sunlight from windows? How much current is in sump? Will start with these questions LOL
