Does anyone here have any experience with the Marineland Mega Flow sumps in a salt water tank? I just bought a 240 gallon I plan to make a fowlr tank in time, right now I am starting to look for and purchase equipment. I came across a model 4 sump on another forum, but don't know alot about them. Most of the reviews I've found for them online aren't very promising, but at the same time alot of them seem to be more speculation than actual experience.

I am all for building your own. That way you can get the exact room you need for equipment and you can have it designed how you want it. Im not a fan of wet/dry systems or bioballs that the megaflow runs. I prefer all natural filtration, so live rock. Depending on room id buy a 55 or 75 and build your own. I think youd be alot happier. Seems to be a popular route these days.

I still need to measure my stand to see what I could get under it. I found a guy with over flow boxes for my tank and a 75 for a sump for $140, I would just need to add the glass This style sump does not use bio balls, it has media trays and bio wheels. http://www.advancedaquarist.com/200...s_sump.jpg The seller is asking $150 for it. Seemed like a good deal considering they sell for 3-400 new.
