Anyone ever setup a tank by the window and used the sun as lighting? I would ask more, but lets start there...

My QT tank gets filtered sunlight, and about 5 inches of the tank get direct sunlight about an hour a day. Way to early for me to say how it will all work out, but the temp stays nice and stable on the 29 gallon with a 100 watt heater. I've monitored carefully and the temp does not shift much.....but it does not get a ton of sun.
