   So my MH on my Sunpod decided it wasn't going to work today. I figured that the bulb just went out, and wasn't worried about it to much.    Tonight I tried a brand new bulb, and nothing.  So now I am wondering if the ballast went out.
   I am wanting to know if there is a way to tell if its the ballast, or something else.   I can buy the replacement, but I want to know for sure before I spend the $100
   Any help would be great

   volt meter @ the socket and at the plug to the halide, ru using a GFCI? they can mess with ur ballasts...

   Yup, voltmeter. I'll bet the ballast is toast. Mines in the process of going bad, those sunpark ballasts suck! I am saving up for an icecap.
