So I popped the question to my GF.  Now we are planning a trip to Las Vegas to get married by a Elvis impersonator. Yes its cheesey, but it should be lots of fun. But anyway I am planning a day to visit some SW places in the area close to the Strip. So does anyone know of some places that are worth stopping at? The only thing I have planned so far is stopping at the ATM facility and getting a tour there.

I don't think there are too many places in Vegas for SW. LA is where its all at. ATM could probably tell you where some of their tanks are in town to go check out though.

ATM facility? As in the series "tanked"?! Lucky! I was in Vegas a few years back, but I just frequented the night clubs and casino blackjack tables lol. I know it's not a SW shop, but I'd visit Pawn Stars shop, heard its really cool by all my buddy's. I was always too inebriated to make it that far off the strip... Surprise surprise!

Congrats on your engagement, and have fun in Vegas. Go to stratosphere and take the "jump"! It's BA

There's an Aquarium in the Forum at Ceasar's Palace. They actually had a diver in the tank doing an informational presentation when I was there. It was 3 years ago but I would think the tank is still there. BTW congrats on the engagement even if it will be Cheesy. The guys from the show Tanked is located in Vegas so you may be able to contact them and get some good suggestions as well. Have fun.

Congratulations! I was going to suggest ATM but it was already on your mind. That's where I got my tank. I wanted to go pick it up, but I didn't have the time and decided to have it shipped. I think a tour would be cool. Have fun!

My wife and I were just in Vegas and saw the shark exhibit at Mandalay Bay. There are quite a few tanks peppered throughout the strip as well.. at the Mirage there's a pretty sizable tank in the wall of the main lobby - we saw a giant eel eat one of the fish in the tank, there's also a decent sized circular tank in the forum shops in Cesar's palace.. they have some poseidon or neptune show that pops out of the top of it every hour as well.

We didn't see anything in terms of corals though, but that's to be expected. Have fun!

Thanks everyone for the info. Kinda disappointing that there isn't really any reef stuff in Las Vegas.
