Advice? T5 bulb layout

    So I got a i bulb coralvue t5/led hybrid light currently I have giesemann bulbs in there

    Actinic blue
    Super actinic
    ATI Coral Plus
    Actinic Blue
    LEDS
    Actinic blue
    Super Purple
    Super Actinic
    Actinic Blue


    Im going to replace them eventually with all ati but keep some giesemann bulbs
    Im thinking this layout

    Blue+ ati
    Super Actinic giesemann
    Coral+ ati
    Blue+ ati
    LEDS
    Blue+ ati
    Super purple giesemann
    Super actinic giesemann
    Blue+ ati


    Whats everyones thoughts on this?

    Looks like good combo to me. I like the look of the giesemann actinic better than the ATI true actinic. The giesemann just looks a bit brighter to me.
    Everything else looks good. If you want a bit brighter go 6 blue 2 purple.

    Im gonna check the par tomorrow but the corals are reacting very good to the combo I have in there now. Really happy with the giesemann actinic and super purple

    This bubble coral has gotten huge plus the colors oh how I missed them :)

    Looking good. How does the super purple compare to purple plus? Does it look pretty much same?
    I was gonna try one but haven't got around to it yet.

    Imo the giesemann super purple seems to be a darker purple I really like it

    Nice. Sounds like I better order one.
    Did you end up getting mounting legs or hanging that beast?

    I moved the hanging bracket on the light then hung them. It worked out pretty good. The spread isnt as good if because I cant go any higher then 7" but it covers the whole tank. I plan to check the par, lux, and Kelvin throughout the tank tomorrow. I can already see Im getting more/better then I did with the other leds/t5s I had before though

    What's that fixture have for LEDs? One of those big multi chip emitter, or individual bulbs? LEDs dimmable?

    12 Individual leds non dimmable.
