T5 Lighting Opinions

    So I am planning my 40 breeder build and have been looking at the Current 36" Nova Extreme Pro 6x39watt. I was going to go with MH again but i want to try something different.

    Anyways I am looking for opinions on what array of bulbs to run? I have heard good things about ATI and Giesemann bulbs but if there is any other suggestions I am open to them.

    Any input I can get will be great! Thanks!

    hey gered,
    i can tell you from first hand experience that ati blue+ and giesemann blue+ are both amazing bulbs. it all depends on what type of look you want (10k, 14k, 20k). giesemanns pure actinic bulb is basically a UV super actinic,
    and there aquablue plus is a great 14k bulb really nice crisp white color.
    i would try this combo
    2 ati blue+
    1 giesemann blue+
    1 super actinic or gies pure actinic
    1 aquablue gies
    1 ati procolor (kinda pink)
    or 1 UV 75.25

    should give you a nice 14kish look that really makes the colors pop, and if you really wanna go big switch one of the blue+ with a kz fiji purple!!!!

    Liking the fiji purple idea. Definitely will be trying it out. Anyone else?
