I have a 8 bulb 48in. t5 light on my 125.  4 actinic and 4 10,000 k bulbs.  Its been on it for about 3 to 4 weeks now.  I"m getting some blue to come out in the corals I have but want more.  Is there anybody that has played with bulb combinations to get colors they want.  Or know of any articals out there that might cover this.
Thanks for any input on this

Yeah I switched my 48" 8 bulb to 5 ATI blue plus, 3 ATI aqublue special and 1 fiji purple. Check out grimreefer's recommendations on reefcentral. I'm VERY pleased with the growth, especially on SPS.

Definately get higher quality bulbs and as others have mentioned go with ATI Blue +. They have the best PAR output of any T5 bulb I've read about. I would put at least 3 ATI blue+. I upgraded from stock bulbs not long ago to 3 ATI Blue+, 1 ATI 12000k Blue Special, 1 GE 6500K and 1 UVL 75/25 Actinic White. Personally I don't like to much blue. It washes out the yellows, reds and pinks. My .02
