The 16th it is! Central Campus has graciously offered to give us a tour of their facility. I need a head count to give them of how many people will attend.

Also, they are looking for donations! They need anything from fish nets to algae scrapers.

I am in and can dig up a bunch of stuff to give. Also, how do we add our tanks to the tour??? I maintain a reef in a dentist's office, I think I could get permission to have it on the tour. How many people are we talking about and how does this work - caravan around to different people's houses? This is a new one for me...

Floyd, that would be great if you have stuff to donate. If you would like to have a stop on the tour, we would be more than happy to see any tanks you want. I am hoping to get a head count if more people will respond here. I have to get a count for CC as well. Yeah, we pretty much just start at one house and I will make a schedule and we will just travel from stop to stop.

Yeah, I got a cracked 55 for free along with a huge box of old HOB filters, a Magnum, etc that I will never use. If they can find a use for it they can have it. I might have a few kids that want to come to CC also.

I'm actually off that day so count me in! I've got an extra fish net I can donate. I might be able to dig up some other stuff as well. I'm excited to see what Central Campus has going on.

Looks like we are going to have a great event! Thanks everyone for letting me know if you are going to be there. I am thinking we can start at 1pm. I am not sure where we are going to start but I hope to get a schedule figured out once I hear back from a few people.

So far for stops I have,
    Me,
    Central Campus,
    Sone,
    Floyd

If anyone else wants to show their tank, please speak up!

Everyone, Please do not feel like it is necessary to donate anything. I was just suggesting if you had anything laying around and were possibly going to throw it away that they might need it.

All kids are welcome as well. After all, it is a school. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

I will be there and no one wants to see my tank or wait I doubt anyone wants to drive up and see it. HAHA So are we thinking early afternoon start time? That typically seems to work out the best. Does Central Campus have a time they would like to show?

Everyone planning to show their tank please PM me with your address and contact info. Also let me know if there is any restrictions on time. The plan as of right now is to start east and head west. So it is looking like Sone will be the beginning and then go from there. Central Campus is set for 3:00 so we are most likely going to make that end. Me and Joe also discussed going out to eat afterwards also. This is a good time to socialize and for everyone to get to know each other.
