    So you're probably wondering who the heck is KollerCraft.  They are the parent company of Tom Aquarium Products.  I think I shared recently that I had an aqualifter pump that died on me.  I was using it for ATO and it just gave up after just a couple of weeks.  I e-mailed the company and they immediately offered to replace it (postage paid) if I simply sent them my address.  They also recommended that I use the pre-filter with it as a safe guard and mentioned that pump rebuild kits were available if I should need one in the future.  I thanked them for the info and asked him how much I would need to add a pre-filter to my warranty replacement order.  They threw it in no charge and on top of that, shipped it UPS so I got it the next day.  They did all that for me over just a $12 pump.  I really appreciate these guys going the extra mile and it's always good to see a company that stands behind its products.

    Good to hear! I thought it was strange that yours died so quickly. My guess is these don't die this often or they could not afford to send these replacements out all the time. But hey I could be wrong.

    It's also a good reminder to let issues be known to suppliers. If they're a decent and reputable player in the business, they will invite user feedback - and they will stand behind their stuff !!

    Thats awesome. I know several manufactures that wont do that. Thats the main reason I dont like current. But great news to have everything running again in just over 24 hours.

    Your'e right I have great luck with their pumps. I have also met their sales manager who told me the same things they told you. The pre-filters do help but they are hard to keep sealed up. But the rebuild kits are great, I have used many of them. Very good products and service from Tom.
