Thanks Coral Haven

Thanks to Mike at Coral Haven for helping me out last night. I made the trip to Coral Haven to get Dr. G's medicated food - they are the only store within reach of Cedar Rapids who carry it. I left after work and I barely got there by 6, when they close, but Mike let me browse anyway. Great selection of corals for very reasonable prices - really surprised - naturally couldn't make the long trip without making a purchase. And they had really healthy looking fish - and many really unique species not commonly found - they had many wrasses that I've never seen, nor even heard existed. Mike showed me the quarantine system they have for treating the fish in copper before putting in the floor tanks...very impressive. Defenitely worth the trip.

 

Mike - yeah, it was great seeing you. You and Joe are doing a great job with the store. I really like the quarantine setup. Elevates a lot of confidence in the livestock. Sorry again I came at such a weird time...promise next time I'll come well before closing.

Dave - no I didn't buy any of the wrasses...but, I sure was tempted. They were amazing. I can't do any fish until I have my tang/parasite issue under control.

 

I want that cool marbled red one in the display tank....the one that has a blue spot on each side of his head that makes it look like it has blue ears. That fish was amazing.
