So today is the day we start the tear down. Not for good thank god. So Nik is on his way here now, and we're gonna remove my fish and coral. Outta the kindness of his heart, my livestock will be hanging out at his place tell this next Saturday maybe Sunday. Durning this tear down I will be considering some changes in my setup. The biggest change... MY AQUASCAPE! I (with help) will also be cleaning up the plumbing and wiring. And also cleaning house of many extra unneeded items that I have amassed while trying to build this setup. RODI will finally be setup and also FISH ROOM! Stay tuned for photos and updates as we go along. Merry Christmas to everyone![IMG]

Home sweet home. After 4 hours of grilling NIK in a Q an A I have realized that I have much to learn. It's sad to come home and look at an empty tank. But, I'm happy to think of the many improvements that are to come. The help that NIK has brought to the table has been VERY helpful. I can't help to think about the 1st day I got into this. I had no help and was miss led by the LFS on many things. I was dumb and conceded. But looking back at those days I didn't have someone like NIK to show me the path. I know that their are many ways to do things and that's why I love GIRS so much. So many different people with so many ideas. I try and soak in as much as possible. With that said, it's nice to have someone work side by side with you and show you the ropes. Even if it's just their side of things. I respect everyone in this club. But a major thank you is due to NIK and all he has done for me. I hope to be a VERY active member in this club and one day pass on the knowledge that is currently being passed on to me. I love this hobby so much. This hobby has calmed me down and made me a peaceful man. Without each and everyone of you, and my livestock I would not be the person I am now. It's been my therapy in tuff times and my savor in lonely times. I wish more people like me could experience the joy I feel when talking or interacting with this hobby. So many great people and so much great advice. Sorry for the rant but I had to get it out there. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years! It will be a few days before the next update.

Thanks Brian. Was a joy working with you. I learned everything I know from members here. Matt, Bud, Craig, Terri, Jeanette, Kylie, Joel, JB, Kirk, Tim, Gered and Joe. I am sure I left a few out but the point is its members helping members and that's what it is all about. There has been talk lately about the club being like it used to be I say it still is. Maybe just not as public as it once was. And that should change.

So today started the house move. Only got one run in however. The hardest part of the day was getting my sump out from my stand. I did finally get it out, with out breaking my hand, stand, or sump. It was no easy task. 2mrw we finish the move, then we got 2 days of setting up the tank. All followed by a big steak supper at my place with NIK! Cheers everyone and Merry Christmas.
