So much has happened today. Let's just start from the top. Ok so we started with the sump today. Just polished it up a bit. Finished plumbing and installed the pump, protein skimmer, and some rock for my make shift refugium. Added the light for the refugium and ran the power for everything. We put in some good circulation pumps (on loan thanks to NIK) and then started to add water. Side note on water... Be sure to ask NIK what happens when you don't pay attention or lose track while making RO / Salt water. Haha funny story for him to tell. Then we through in 5 heaters to get the water up to temp. Once the temp got to safe level we began to put the fish in. After I spent about 2hrs trying to decide were I was going to place my coral. All and all, very successful day. Fish look happy, coral should be fine , and levels are all on point. Over the next few days I will be adding Carbon, GFO, and UV light. Oh and let's not forget unpacking my house. The day ended with a great steak supper (thanks to my wife).[IMG]

It's been fun documenting this build. Just for the hell of I think I will keep it going. Right now just wait for the water to clear up so I can take some photos for everyone to see the outcome of all the work NIK and I put into it. It's almost ready for photos now but want to polish up that water some more. Anyone in the Des Moines area feel free to come by anytime to check it out in person. I'm pretty proud of it so far.

Here you go. May end up doing something different with the lighting.
