    I fully understand somepeople might not like this thread, but this is the midwest and we have guns. Plain and Simple. We are all for the safe handling and legalities of owning said firearms. So please safety first and no haters!





    With that said. What kinda setup do you guys run for an AR-15


    I have:


    A DPMS flat top with Magpul junk all over it in Flat Dark Earth (FDE).


    Magpul AFG2 (is super awesome and trumps all vertical grips)


    Magpul enhanced trigger piece


    Magpul STR adjustable Buttstock (didn't think I'd like the bulkiness but adds a nice spot for my cheek)


    Magpul Mbus rear flip up sight


    Magpul MIAD pistol grip, this thing is awesome has adjustable front strap and back strap, plus compartment in the grip itself that is "waterproof"


    Lastly I have an Aimpoint pro redot which i freaking love to!


    I run Pmags and GI mags that have been upgraded with magpul followers and have NEVER had any kind of jam caused by the mags!

    I enjoy shooting, but its probably a good thing I haven't gotten into buying/modding/building firearms. It would be another big money pit on the list, and damn I've got too many already.

    I myself have a love for handguns. However I would love to have an ar some day. Really enjoy shooting but haven't been out since I moved up here. I don't know of any place to go shoot. I guess I didn't know how great I had it in oskaloosa with two free shooting ranges.
