The community has been super awesome at letting me borrow your things! Thanks to everyone who has let me borrow one thing or another (I won't name names because I guarantee I will forget someone and instantly be thrown on their S*** list!) Anyway, I am in need of a CORDED circular saw. I suppose a battery powered one works too. I have a battery powered of my own but the battery plain sucks. Will last for about three cuts and then die, needing a 12+ hours charge each time. Was going to buy one months prior,  but never got around to it. Now I just have a small table to build for a saltwater mixing station, along with reinforcements for my tank stand, and I didn't want to go out and buy a saw for just that (since I am thinking this will be the end of my cutting needs for a while). I have a dozen cuts to make, if that. I do have an almost brand new blade that I can use, if that is of any concern. A table saw would work better, but that is just a PITA to move more than likely! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/tongue.gif

Shoulda had them cut them at lowes when you were there. Usually they cut the first two for free and then 25 cents after that.

Matt do you remember when Lowes cut my stuff? It was cut at an angle so either the table wasnt straight or they didn't know what they were doing!

I have a saw I would loan you if you were local, but getting it back and forth to Ames would not be worth the effort. Invest in a good circular saw...you will use it over and over again...I know I use mine alot.

Thanks to everyone that so graciously offered. I was able to borrow a saw. I was considering buying one, but I probably shouldn't keep collecting stuff before we move! Lol

I use a Dewalt 18v battery circular saw. That thing can cut thicker wood than my table saw. One battery charge lasts longer than I want to be cutting things, and it recharges in one hour. They aren't cheap, but they will last you the rest of your life, and they don't suck. Every tool I've ever bought has seen way more use than I ever intended.
