"The Take" only spent 120 on coral Have yet to be very successful at tank pictures haha, and probably should have grabbed an algae scraper while I was there as you can tell..

 

Nice frogspawn. I take it that wasnt part of your $120 spending at the fest. Wish I had one like it haha.

 

Kinda funny how things look so much different under metal halide after seeing them under really blue LED's. The Blue Tort & Chips Acro look much better under halides, yet all the zoas/palys I got look boring under the halides compared to what they looked like under the LED's.

 

Lee- had the same issue, the blue led makes everything look good, I should've tooken that into account when I was buying a few that dont look nearly as great under 5:1 led lights

mppanp- Haha no, that was a good chunk of change in itself that I got off of saltwaterfish.com. I had never heard of the place, but had a very good experience with them! Decent prices, good shipping and quality fish/coral

 

I actually had the sellers turn on the white LED's before I purchased them because I knew better. With the white LED's on, the color appeared similar to my tank at home with a 20k halide.... Yet they still look completely different by the time I got home. I guess I just have a lot to learn about LED's still!

 

its a full tank shot but, works also we ended up with some smaller frags as a couple things in the coller shifted and branches broke. but it gave me an excuse to build a small magnetic frag rack from a mini magfloat/Portals/0/activeforums_Attach/2012-11-11_22.09.52_(Custom).jpg
