   Looking at a new RO/DI system.  I am in need of a new membrane and would like to add a couple other features to my current 4 stage RO/DI such as in-line TDS monitoring, pressure gauge, an auto shut off and it would be nice to have the RO only port.  By the time I add all that I am close to a new RO/DI system from Air Water and Ice...  that said will the The Typhoon III Extreme 150 run w/out a booster pump?

   It says it will run on a minimum of 30 PSI and needs 65 PSI to get the 150 gpd with a 98% rate. I'm assuming if you run it at lower pressure the rejection rate will drop causing you to use more DI resin, and the GPD will drop. I would email AWI and find out to be sure though.

   I'd check the PSI of your water before getting a 150 gpd. 75 is probably adequate if you have less than a 200g tank.
