I have been working the last few months gathering up things to start a 90 Gallon setup, and am at the point where I have a decision to make... I have a child on the way and am debating getting out while the investment is still small so I don't end up buying a bunch of stuff and killing it because I don't have time.
Here is a list of what I have, I will get some pictures up later tonight. I'm not 100% leaning either way, so if I start to sell, it all needs to be spoken for before any of it goes...
Tank - 90 Gallon Aqueon aquarium. The tank has been drilled, has a "coast to coast" glass overflow siliconed in, and is set up with the "BeanAnimal" overflow. This setup is silent, and flood-proof. Search ReefCentral for more information on it if you want to know more. There is one very slight scratch on the front that I was planning on buffing out, nothing that would deter me from using it obviously. - $140 with overflow plumbing included (3 1.5" pipes, one with a ball valve midway for siphon control)
Stand - I built this stand myself. Used 2x4 framing, then skinned and trimmed it, then primed it with an oil-based primer to waterproof it, and painted it black. It will hold any tank with a 48x18 footprint. $100.
Sump - 29 Gallon tank, I have 3 baffles in it made of acrylic that has weather stripping holding it in place, with silicone bracing behind it. Isn't pretty, but gets the job done. $25
Skimmer - This skimmer is an AquaC EV-120 clone, with a Mag12 pump. Works, no problems. $75
Mag 9.5 - $50. Just bought this from AJ. Works fine.
    200W heater - $10
    Koralia K3 - $20
Coralvue High Seas 1500 gph PH - $20
Coralvue High Seas 1500 gph PH - $10 (works but is noisy because of a broken ceramic shaft) AJ helped me get a replacement that cost $3 shipped, but I broke it too....

Base Rock - Man made, between 2 and 3 rubber totes full. Bought it from JohnL, I think it's been makig the rounds in the club. Tested the pH and this rock is ready to go in a tank. $40
Sand - not live, has been cleaned, there is about 1.5-2 5 gallon buckets of it $15
30" single tube flourescent light - $5. Came with the 29 Gal.
Plastic hydrometer and glass temperature/salinity floater - $5
BuckeyeFieldSupply 3-Stage RO/DI unit - $75 - has been used to make about 100 gallons. Bought new a few months ago.
Also have miscellaneous K3 parts (cover and magnet) from a broken PH.
Will sell the entire package for $525. It was bought next to bargain basement prices and I'm selling it for what I got it for or less. All you'd need is a light and your tank would be ready for some seed LR and fish. The system is actually up and running right now, I have been waiting on seed LR, but have not found any.
Since I'm not desperate, I'd have to have everything spoken for before it would be broken up. I'll work on having pics up tonight.
Price for everything in blue - $350

As I get requests for pieces of the whole, I will mark them in green as spoken for. People are more than welcome to get a spot in line for them though.
Also, as always, if someone wants the whole package, they take it all.
Each time I update the spoken for list, I'll also post/update a "the rest" price for everything that is not currently spoken for.

I went through a similar thing... only I know I will be moving in two years, so I didn;t want to build things up only to have to tear them down so soon. I decided on a FOWLR, which so far has been much less expensive. Regardless of what you decide, best of luck to yoU! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

Here are some pics of the setup.
Whole tank shot. The doors come off and are held in place by magnets like cabinet doors are held closed. Both sides have a small door:
    [IMG][IMG]
Stand Detail. There is some dog hair and finger smudges on the stand that make it look bad in the second pic, but all of them wipe off and aren't noticeable in normal lighting.:

    Sump Detail:

    Overflow Detail:

    [IMG][IMG]
Rock/Substrate Detail: (There is a lot more rock than this, this was a very minimalistic setup. Also, the sand is fine, but there are some bigger pieces of shells/rock/etc in it.)

OK, he list has been updated one more time. GREEN things are spoken for if it gets parted out, BLUE things would come as a package. If you are interested in all of it, the price is $500.
Blue items price is $260. Basically buy the stand/tank and get a bunch of stuff for $20 extra.
One sidenote, if this ends up getting sold today, I will be out of town from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon/evening. I'll be avaliable Friday all day until 4:30 as I will be working from home.

Assuming things in green are still spoken for, Blue items are now $225. Looking to start unloading this stuff when I get home next Monday.

Price for the blue stuff is now $200. If it doesn't sell for that price, I'll probably sit on it for a while and wait it out.

FYI - there is a post on the Nebraska Reef Society forum for somebody wanting to buy a used 90RR tank w stand.  Says he's looking for a used one cheap - don't know what he might consider cheap.  Says he's in Omaha.

Open to offers on the remaining blue items.

becker, I sent him a message the day you suggested right before coming here. He's interested, but I'm not sure if the logistics of getting it to Omaha is gonna work...
