   Seems like an interesting idea, not sure how well they work but would be a nice idea for those who want a quieter system and can't change the plumbing.

   Doesn't seem to work with the water going straight from the tank into the filter sock but only when it overflows over another ledge. Maybe not so interesting afterall.

   I just have a piece of PVC coming from the tank into the filter sock and make sure it's below the waterline so it's quiet
