My wife (Samantha) and I just got married in Cozumel Mexico a couple of weeks ago. Such an amazing place to plan a dream wedding for her. We had such a great time there and can't wait to come back. We spent a lot of time in the water and took 2000 plus pictures. Thought I would share some of the pictures I figured the reefers, I know, would enjoy to see. Some of these are from tide pools throughout the Island and the others are from us snorkeling around the Island in random areas.

Another GIRS member had some tide pool shots he had taken a couple of weeks ago as well. I hope this doesn't look like I am trying to still his thread. But I would really like people to add to my thread with all of the snorkeling/diving/tide pool pictures and videos they have taken themselves. It would be awesome to see other peoples stuff as well. Please explain when and where your pictures are if you post any.

If anyone is interested in seeing anymore of the pictures or the videos I took let me know. I can post more here or I will e-mail you them. There was too many to choose from. But the underwater camera cover made it for an amazing photo/video trip.

Baby Peacock Shrimp... He is about an inch long maybe 1 and 1/4 inches. Sam and I had seen a couple fast bug like critters and I had no idea what they were. I finally found this guy and he stayed long enough for me to take pictures. These guys are extremely fast when they are small.

Nikon Coolpix L110 was the first camera I took with us. I have had this guy for awhile and has always taken great pictures, but about a week into the trip I messed up and didn't ceil the underwater case as well and she got covered in saltwater while I was on a reef tour. Didn't bother me about killing my camera. All I was worried about is if I could get another one in Cozumel the same day. Went to the biggest store and picked up the Fujifilm Finepix S4800. It was the best one that you could buy in Cozumel. So about 2/3 of the pictures taken on the trip were done by this camera. Wasn't a huge selection on cameras, but I wasn't going to miss out on all of the underwater pictures/videos I was going to get there. So I didn't care about spending the extra money to make sure we would of had memorable stuff. The case I used was the Dicapac WP-S10. Works really good, I lost my Nikon because of my ceiling job. Made sure it was fully ceiled shut after I bought the new camera for it.

AchillesTang23 you and your fiance will have an amazing trip. I couldn't have asked for anything better or more things to do. There is stuff going on or things to see around every corner for any kind of person.

Andy, I can't explain how amazing the whale shark and manta ray dive was. I have been wanting to swim with whale sharks since Animal Planet shows when I was a kid. Really hard to explain the feeling of swimming next to a 35 foot puppy dog like that. When you are swimming next to them, you draft off of them so much that you basically don't have to swim.

I have a lot more pictures and some awesome underwater videos I took as well with my camera that I can post if people would like to see them.

Congrats man. My fiancé and I are getting married there in January 2014. I actually proposed while diving there this year in April. We are so excited to go back. We have gone down there every year for the past 7 years. It's seems like the best place you could think of for a wedding. Do you have any good tips on the wedding? We are having it at Sunscape Sabor, but kind of lost on wedding photographers.

Mike we had our photographer Abbi Garling come with us from Iowa. I would highly recommend her for anything, especially destination weddings... www.yourmemoriesbyabbi.com... She is great I put some pictures she took for us on here. These are the rough cuts she is completing them right now. We also just had our wedding at our resort. These pictures were taken throughout the Island. Mike if you want to see our album I can send you a link to view them all. It is hard to choose a couple to put on here.

I did this exact snorkling on my honeymoon in Cozumel. My wife got scared but I loved it. It was neat to swim with all the fish and turtles. My wife freaked out at the start because a sting ray swam right over our feet. Congrats on the marriage.
