    Well I got my 75 gallon freshwater taken down in all cleaned up, along with a lot of my other old equipment that I found.

    I also just completed my refium, that I made out of a 20 long. It fits inside of the stand perfectly!

    Also the two outside doors on the stand use to be just boards nailed to the framing, I went and bought some hinges and made them doors as well.

    I am having problems posting pictures with my mobile. so I will have to add some later when I get my camera handy.

    What are your plans for the tank? 75's are probably favorite size. And to post pics, download photobucket to ur phone. Send them there then copy the html link. Paste to ur post and bam. Thats what I do. Quicker than messing with add pic buttons... cant wait to see some!

    I orderd the 700gph overflow, and two return kits from glassholes. They should be here tomorrow or thursday, so I will hopefully be drilling the tank Thursday.

    Ok, quick question everyone. So the drilling kit wont be here until next week, but I was wondering what everyone's opinions were on where to place the returns for best flow. Also note that I will have 2 koralia 1050's in each front corner.

    So should I drill them to the outsides Like I had originally planned?;

    [IMG]

    Or drill them towards the middle pointing out like this?;

    [IMG]

    (the rectangle with the blue circle is the overflow)

    Thanks for your time!

    Looks very good so far. Very professional looking aftermarket drilling and water returns. Post more pics when you get it filled with water and your rock. Its interesting to follow a build from beginning to end.

    I finished plumbing my overflow and received half of my sand today!

    This is some great looking sand! Especially for the cost!

    [IMG]

    I ended up using 2 union fittings and 2 45deg fittings.

    Very nice! What are you going to do to hide the plumbing? I would have guessed to paint it until the sand went in...
    Either way, I will be following your journey. Thanks for the posts and pics.

    Thank you! I was going to paint, but I decided instead to just hang some kind of black fabric behind the tank.

    Looking really good! Looks like you are almost ready to cycle that tank and wait impatiently in the mean time to stock it. Lol Just a thought though...the black fabric may show salt creep over time. Perhaps wash it every few weeks or so? Not criticizing by any means...it was just a thought i had. Keep the updates coming as you progress!
