I got up and did the regular routine of feeding and notice that my toadstool coral appears to be shedding. Is this normal? Thanks for any help

A lot of leather corals "shed" every once in awhile. They sometimes even stayed closed for weeks and then open back up healthier than before. One thing I have learned about leathers is that they like more flow than I thought they would. People generally have better success with them in higher flow areas. This also seems to reduce their "shedding". Or it just speeds up the process since it blows the mucus and such off of them.

Yeah I'm also wearing the same thing as far as the flow and the light goes the light goes. My toadstool seems to like a lot of flow and a lot of light.

My light got pushed back when we did some Maintenance and we noticed some shrinking in our stool. And flow is a big factor.
