   i have this viney translucent stuff growing in my tank, its white in color and its see-through. it almost looks like macro algae but if you grab it it is really slimey and tubey. it keeps growing back fast, anyone know what it is? i couldnt get a  good pic

   Sounds like a sponge to me too. I actually got some on some LR I got recently from someone here. Strangly my emerald crabs seems to love to nibble at it. Never really seen it receed though.

   i dont think its a sponge, its very branched and about 6 inches long
