tunze wave box or a vortech mp40

    just wondering on peoples opinion on which they prefer for a wave machine the tunze wave box or the vortech mp40

    Vortech because I own one. They are sweet!

    I have both. If I had to choose one over the other I'd take the Vortech. It takes up less space, and adds some really nice turbulent flow which my SPS have responded well to.

    i have an mp20 and love it...my sps also responded big time...like double the polyp extension

    Like double the polyp extension?  Did your corals appreciate the extra flow or the brand name of your pump? [​IMG]

    What size tank do you have?

    I would go witht he MP40 as well.

    i would say alternating flow was the biggest factor...i had a lot of flow in there before but it was constant flow

    FYI, I have a Tunze NANO wavebox in my 6' 125 tank and it still manages to create a 3/4" wave.

    I love the motion in creates in my tank.
