Ugh, I think I have an ich problem

I fed 1/3 today, but I wonder what will happen to my biological filter if I don't challenge the system with the same food load? I don't want to get an ammonia spike when I put those guys back in there a month from now.

 

Only 2 more weeks... Just got my broken UV sterilizer back today. Should I put the fish in copper free water for a few days before putting them back in the display tank? I think I'll probably do 2 or 3 days of copper free water with a carbon filter to make sure that none of the copper is carried over to my display tank. Any thoughts??
