I'm not sure if you could actually call it an infestation; however, a couple weeks ago I found some urchins in my tank. I didn't buy any and they weren't there for the first 2 months; however, I think they might have been inside some of the live rock I purchased from a local shop in Des Moines.

But now I have 5 of them. I can see a couple of the rocks that they've eaten all the coraline algae from, and I'm starting to have other algae problems. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/sad.gif

Is there anything I can do? I'm hoping I don't have to rip apart my tank to get rid of them /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/shocked.gif

I'll try and post some pics tomorrow when it's brighter. I think they are small rock boring urchins. Long purple spines and a body bigger than a quarter.
