video of the reef octopus BH-100 running on my biocube since this morning. I emptied the cup this morning before i left for work. "4 year old talking in the background". So far I am happy with the results.

I am very pleased with the skimmer. I have read some mixed reviews. they have addressed some of the complaints. It is now 95% assembled in the box. I had zero problems priming it. Make sure it is submerged and plug it in. I moved it in and out several times while modifying my cube to ensure it would work. Started up right away. The thing is easy to tune. If you are not producing skimmate, lower the cup. To much foam / clear water you raise it. I have since raised mine and it is getting even darker but less liquid more sludg.
