I have a coule of bottle of pepper vodka I made using ghost peppers and another kind of pepper (but those peppers colored the vodka). Anyway the vodka is too hot for me. It's been in my cupboard for a long time. I am thinking of dosing my saltwat with vodka and was wondering if anyone had any experiencewith peppered flavored vodka (or any other flavored vodka) screwing things up rather than helping the tank....any info/experience would be appreciated.

You will want to stick to plain old cheap vodka. Any additives will only serve to damage the fish and the oils from the peppers will titrate itself in to the water and stick around to cause trouble.

This is one of the reasons I dose vinegar instead of vodka, you never know what they add to vodka and they dont have to disclose it. I know I am dosing 5% acetic acid with vinegar. Its also a lot cheaper.

Now for drinking, I am a big fan of Tito's. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/wink.gif
