I had an ich outbreak about a year ago and I was successful at getting rid of it with istant ocean-lifequard. I followed the directions on the box and within 3 days it was a cleared up. After that I made sure not to stress my fish and keep them happy. Stress is what causes most sickness and disease outbreaks when they are already introduced into the system.

Give lifeguard a try if you haven't already and see what happens.

Start under the recomened dose if you have corals and keep a close eye on them. If they don't show too many signs of stress follow the directions until it is cleared up. Good luck and keep us posted!

I have used fresh water dips as well, the point is a that a proper quarantine procedure will prevent this and if you do have an out break the methods are there to beat this thing. Also that article doesn't mention the tank transfer method. Just remember Google is your friend.
