Wanted: Corals QC/IC area

    I have the library tank going up here with the beginning of April.   I'll be looking for a corals now and hold them for when the tank is ready.
    Here's a list of what I'm going to put in.
    Purple Deaths
    Nuke Greens
    Eagle Eyes
    Radio Active Dragon Eyes
    Green Star Polyp
    Rose BTA
    Frog Spawn
    Candy Canes
    So anyone willing to meet me in the QC or IC area who's selling some coral give a list.
    Also I forgot fish.
    It's going to be a 90rr.   So of course I'll have to put in a pair of clownfish and a hippo tang.    I really haven't thought of any other yet.    A mandarin goby after it's been established.

    I'm in Sterling, just east of the QC I got radioactive dragon eyes, whammin watermelons(not quite eagle eyes but similar), and I could probably cut a frag of my neon green candy cane. $15 a frag on each.

    Sorry, I guess I didn't make the list clear. That's what I'm donating from my tank. The whammin watermelons I could grab from you.

    I want to meet as many people as possible with each trip. So I'm not running back and forth quite a bit.

    Here's my sale thread I just threw up yesterday. I do have some green shrooms and blue ones too besides whats listed. Shrooms would be $5 a shroom and the blue ones grow like crazy. If you want to buy some stuff I can throw the coral banded in for free if you want it, just wouldn't be able to have any other shrimp in the display, but wouldn't have a lot of bristle worms either because it likes those

    Wish you were in Iowa I was thinking about fragging some stuff, and me and gered are trying to clean out our frag tank some.

    I do live in Iowa. Muscatine. BTW, I'll be going to the spring swap as well.

    Thanks AJ. That would be sweet. Show them how not all clownfish look like Nemos.

    I'm working with them that once it gets going and looking decent after the cycling. That school kids who study ocean life will be able to make field trips to see it. Kind of like how they go to parks every once in a while.

    Reefer just let me know a general time that you think you may make it to the QC, and we can work sometihng out if you're interested. It's no problem for me to hold on to them until you're ready for them anyway.

    I'll donate the shrimp even if you don't want to buy anything else if you want it. I really like it, but since I wanted to put some peppermints and cleaners in my display it got banned to an extra tank in the basement, so I'd rather have it go somwhere it could be enjoyed. I can throw in a frag of the german blue polyped digi, and a red monti cap too if you're wanting a couple of low matinence sps. I don;t have a calcium reactor either and the digi grows like crazy. If you still want to buy the whammin melons or anything else let me know too.

    I have some hammer, green ricodia and finger leather if you would like. I would just donate it to the cause. Just touch base when you might be swinging up to the qca, or I can bring it to Ricks next month at the qca meeting at his house.

    Thankls a lot guys. I didn't think about the meeting. If you are attending B-Rad's demo in April please bring the livestock. It may save me a few trips. Matters how quickly I can get it set up, but I may have to house them for a bit. I'm working on curing some live rock and going to add some more of my live rock to seed their system. The display will be dry rock.

    Right now the library has the invoice from Adam and they are going to talk to him today about payment.

    probably can't make the meeting, I wish I were a little closer to the QC so I could participate more. if I am in the QC sometime I'll let you know and maybe we can get something figured out. do think there is someone that for sure wants the shrimp though so if you were thinking other shrimp they'll be safe.

    Give me a heads up when you will be in the qc area. The shrimp will be perfect. Especially the cleaner. I told the library I would fit as many symbiotic relationships as possible.

    sorry if you missunderstood, I got rid of the coral baded so I could get the cleaner. If you are wanting cleaners you definately don't want the coral banded, he'd have them eaten within minutes.

    Yeah I meant the cleaners and peppermint. I have a coral bandit and familiar with their attitude.
