Started my weekend project of tearing apart my old 20H and cutting down the glass from that to make baffles for my sump.

Yea it's cheaper then buying new glass, just takes some work.... Ace Hardware cuts glass for $2 a cut piece.

I bet, getting that glass cut for mine ended up being pretty expensive. How big is your sump gonna be?

I have done that too, buying aquariums just for the glass is usually a ton cheaper than buying glass baffles. Its a pain tearing them apart and getting all the silicone off, but I have more time than money so its worth it.
I had an old 40 breeder I used recently for my sump baffles. Nice solid glass. I decided to cut it myself though. Took me a couple practice cuts to get the hang of scoring and snapping it, but i managed to get the hang of it and get a few decent cuts out of it. Then just make sure to get a stone and knock off the sharp edges and you're good to go.
Let's see some pics of the sump.
