Well that was fast...and easy

    So I've had this pair of vivid fancy ocellaris clowns for over a year and tired it get a host anemone for them one other time but they never went near the anemone. The anemone ultimately ended up becoming victim to my mp60 so I never tired again until now. I took them and put them into a strainer with a green bubble tip and less than 24 hours later they seem to love their new host!

    Cool. Have you taken them out of the the strainer yet? I'd sure like to know what happens then - and if they still how with the anemone. Also what kind of an anemone is it?

    Still in the strainer but it's low enough where they could swim over the top now. I think they have became kinda posessive of it, never seem to leave it, The anemone is a green bubble tip.

    Good job Jamie! Clowns can be funny. I had one that hosted in one of my RBTA's while the other clown just xlaimed a corner of my tank. After I traded the hosting clown, I thought good- my other non-hosting will begin in one of my nems....Not! Since I wasn't able to move my nems, I put a torch in the clowns corner and wha-la, hosting in the torsh. After a year of that, I thought okay move the torsh and the clown now has 5 nems to choose from to host. Not! He followed the torch :9( Because I needed the real estate for SPS's, I just moved the torch but the clown has stayed in that other corner. grrr I put my duncan in that now now and the clown is hosting the Duncan! They can be funny when it comes to hosting or not! lol
