Looks good. Not as bright as I thought it would be. Is it a 10oooK?

Personally, I am not a fan of systems where you can actually see the sump and all the plumbing involved. While I can see where it would be convenient as far as maintenance it is a total distraction and actually takes away from your display which is a shame because that tower tank is pretty unique. Is that the chiller directly under the tank? If so you should really consider moving it as far away from the system as possible. All the heat it's sucking out of the tank is going right back up into the tank and canopy. Speaking of canopy, are those 2 x 4's?

"I think" things would look waaay cooler if you were to get a smaller sump that fits under the tank and enclose it in, spend a little more time a canopy, and turn the tank so it sits in the corner.

As the topic asked, that "what I think".

Yep that is EXACTLY the stuff I was looking for. The stand does not allow for anything under the tank. I am indeed working on a new canopy design. Once I get a bigger return pump the sump will probably go to the basement. Thank you, Shaun

Now the more I look at it the more I notice the way the sump takes away from the tank itself. More planning and work, Shaun

Yeah man, traditionally tall tanks are considered "show" tanks, having all that other "stuff" crammed right next to it is distracting and makes the display seem small.
I know everyone has different budgets and time considerations but if I had that tank I would try to hide as much as possible and keep the display as the "showcase".

I love the aquascaping you did with your live rock. Very neat /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

Thank you. I have not got a clue how I would turn the tank at an angle now that it is set up and running. You are right, it should look more like a show tank. Shaun

I don't think the canopy looks that bad. It just need a shot of krlon.

I agree with Waverz on the placing of the sump and chiller. It does sound like you have or making plans to remodel it. Other then that I think using the crushed coral isn't a good idea. Only speaking from experience with my 72 with crushed coral. If you don't keep it cleaned out by gravel cleaning it can start to build nitrate, and then its hard to get rid of it. Personally I would use a deep sand bed with a show tank like that. Not that it won't work, just keep to keep up on the maintenance. Other then that the display looks great. Keep posting pics as it progresses.
