Clams. So many clams. Most expensive one $300 from live aquaria. One time got a sick clam killed my others, another time tangs killed the clams overnight. Most recently got pyramid snails that nuked my teardrop.

Foxface killed my $150 maxima clam. So far my only major loss.

I eyeball the store clerks while they work the nems loose. I asked one a while back if she would mind if I handled removal.... Can tell if they are going to f it up if they grab the nem.

Most expensive I've lost is a bluespot jaw fish while in quarantine. Best I could figure was stress. Everything else checked out.

I bought an orange back wrasse that was killed by a Hawkfish, then I tried a peppermint hogfish that met the same fate. It was like $150 worth of fish in 1 week.
I ended up buying a really small treble hook from Dicks, baited it with meatloaf and caught the Hawkfish.
I thought of flushing him, but gave him to Petco instead.

I solved my flame hawk from being too confident by getting a longnose hawk. I thought they would keep each other busy by claiming their part of the tank. It's worked but not how I expected, they are like best friends now and perch on rocks and my monti cap together while my clownfish lays on them. They dont chase anything.

Goldflake angel. $210 (which is a great price for a 4-5" adult). Had it for about 3 weeks seemed to be fine - ate like a pig and then found it dead out of the blue. Still have no idea how/why it died.
