I have finally got everything together to start building my sump with a fuge on it.
I was just kinda curious what everyone used for lighting on them.
should it be.  regular *standard screw bulb or flourecent?
Does a fuge light have to be any special temp rating or is a standard grocery store bulb going to cut it.
    The sump will probably be approx 14" x 32" x 18"
with a fuge section that is probably 18" x 18"

I think Hung told me all you would need are compact flourescent "daylight" bulbs you can buy at menards.

Not even necessarily daylight bulbs. Pick up a compact fluorescent, higher wattage is better of course, and a cheap-o clip on reflector and you should be set.

Best lighting i ever had on a fuge was 4x110 watt overdriven daylight bulbs. That MIGHT have been overkill though /site/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif

$14 double bulb florescent fixture or if you want to be really slick, a home made LED light... /site/DesktopModules/NTForums/themes/_default/emoticons/biggrin.gif

^^^ that'd work too! Fixtures tend to rust, though.
