So I got a gold headed sleeper goby yesterday. It was easily 3 inches long and as thick as my thumb, so a full grown specimen. I haven't seen him after he dashed into some rocks being introduced last night. Now I know it is too early to tell, but this was the same way my tiger wardi (it was maybe 2 inches) started off and I never saw it again. I don't THINK my eels could have gotten it. They only willingly eat food that is less than 1/5 this things size. What gives???? /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/mad.gif

Not a chance. The tank is full enclosed and I mean FULLY. Unless he liften a 1/2" piece of acrylic and laid it back down, he is still in the tank somewhere.

I hear ya. I have 3 gobies in my tank; I last saw them the day after put them in. I didn't think they were supposed to be shy fish.....

Believe me I have checked. The eels enjoy the overflow as well! /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/tongue.gif

Note to self... if you buy an eel that has a main diet of gobies in the wild, don't stock your tank with gobies.

    That is all...
