what should i do... Nem sting

    so my Rbta stung my toadstool while i was moving things around. just wanted to know what i should do. amputate, iodine dip, ect.

    I don't think there's really anything you can do for a coral that's been stung badly by an anemone......what I've always done is just move it well out of the anemones range and the coral will recover on its own (after looking like crap for awhile).

    after thinking about it i removed the necrotic tissue. it seemed to spread since last night. i looked a cross section of the tissue and it was..... for lack of a better word goo on the inside. i don't think it would have recovered.

    Maybe it was stung too badly :/ I had some anthelia that floated underneath an anemone and the frag looked awful, just some tissue on the frag plug. But a few days later, new stalks were already forming and it all regrew. I think my clean-up crew must have eaten any dead tissue on it......never seen any after I initially rescued it.
