Since becoming a member it seems like the site has slowed down...thought I'd start something interesting...What car(s) do you own and why do you have them. I have a 2006 Grand Caravan and a 2008 Toyota Prius....Stow and go is slick in the van and it fits the kids. Prius is just a sweet little car and a consistant 50 mpg dont hurt /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif. A much different ride then the 2005 Vic Police Interceptor I traded in...

A 99F150. Why? I live past the sticks, so need something to get me out in the winter.

I bought the wife a 2011 Traverse because Ford didnt have anything that would seat 6. Big mistake, what a POS!!!!

2005 toyota tacoma X-runner. Bought it because I love the looks and really didn't want a car.

Now I'm looking to pick up a cheap civic for a DD and keep the miles off the truck. Why a honda civic, because they aren't too expensize, and they will keep running well past the apacolypse.

I'm not entirely sure, but it will probably happen before you figure out the proper way to quote a persons response. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/laugh.gif

    lol

David that Tacoma you have is SOOO nice dude!

I have a BMW 330ci (I want an M3) But it is absolutely the ultimate driving machine! No question about it, I've had A LOT of vehicles in the past 10 years and this is hands down the best car I've ever owned. Comfortable, stylish, handles like a dream, 230hp is sufficient (The M3 has 400.....I want!) All the little details make this car though. Leave it to the Germans to perfect ergonomics in EVERY single way.

good response...good to see some pickups. I miss my 95 f150 with 35's. But found myself never driving it anymore. I drive 6 hours every other weekend to get my boy so this prius is amazing. If you've never looked at one up close you'd be surprised how good they are.

Have you seen the Tesla Model S!? all electric! 400hp! Stylish! range of 300miles! cost equivalent of 89mi/gallon! base 57k, performance model 105k. Definitely the future of vehicles. If they can make a hybrid or all electric look that good and perform that well THEN I will buy one! (gotta come down to 40-50k tho)

I thought the same thing Craig. The other day I read a thing in MotorTrend that the Prius is a "lemon free" 2nd hand car, which surprised me. With all the advanced charging and hybrid technology on board I would think it's just begging for things to go wrong, but apparently they've been holding their own?!

We got hybrid certified last spring. Put one in a Prius this summer and it was $5000.

Idk. I see as nowadays it's going to cost you for whatever new car you have. Getting to the point where you can't work on any new cars. Prius has been around for a while. I've heard nothing but good things about them. Hopefully I got a good one but that can be said about any vehicle you buy. Big part of the cost of replacing things though is labor. Anything serious happened I'd definitely look at diy first instead of taking it in. Research and from personal experience the batteries will last 200k plus miles. I can deal with that lol.

2011 Nissan frontier. Wanted 4wd but a full size barely fits in my garage. I also bought a nissan because of their high resale value plus quality. The only complaint i have is that it should get better gas mileage and a bigger fuel tank. It does have alot of horsepowe for a midsize though.

Car numer 2 is a 2009 ford taurus. I love this car because it looks good drives awesome plus gets decent gas mileage. It's alot of car for the price. wish they still made this body style!

My long time girlfriend has a 2007 honda civic. It's been a really good car but it sits to low to the ground. This is not a go fast car ha ha. I think it only has around 100 hp lol. Honda quality is awesome though!

    1966 Corvette 427 - Duh!
2010 G37 Coupe - It does so much right! 330hp stock but easy to squeeze 350-370 with few mods and well made with all the bells and whistles.
2011 Triumph Rocket III Roadster - 2300cc worth of torque on 2 wheels is something to be experenced! Of course modded to 180 rear horsepower...
