   how often does everyone clean thier collection cup on your skimmer.
   mine stunk like rooten eggs and had to be completly cleaned this morning.
   i dunno if it was a good thing to clean it completely but i did.

   I clean mine as often as it takes to keep skimming performance at an optimum. Usually 2-3 days is the longest I go. It gets a complete wash and wipe down so it looks perfectly new going back on the skimmer.

   I dump the cup on mine daily and brush/rinse it. Once a month I tear the skimmer down and clean it completely. Often I use vinegar at this cleaning to remove coralline and the rest of the crap from it.
