I would like to eventually add a few more SPS to my system. It is a mixed reef, but mostly LPS, so I can't run the pristine system that many SPS require to thrive and still keep my blastomussas happy.

Anyone have specific suggestions on SPS that do well in "dirtier" conditions? Acroporas in particular?

I have several varieties of bird's nest, pocilopora, montepora, green slimer, and a purple acro with green polyps that I was told was a GARF bonsai, but I kinda doubt it given it grows faster than than I am told true GARFs do. I would really like some nice blue and turquoise sticks.

You've pretty much covered the waterfront from my perspective. I assume you've covered the monitpora bases (digi, cap, encrusting). One other pretty easy one is elk horn hydnophora which is kind of a cool coral.

Matt, it seems pretty much everything grows like a weed in your tanks /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif

Nice! Is it a true yellow? You will have to let me know if you ever frag it.

I would like to get a turquoise stag as well, but am unsure about their water quality demands.

Another I like that I am thinking is on the less demanding water quality spectrum would be the Joe the Coral. Anyone?

I really like the Hawkins Blue, Cali Tort, Red Dragon, and Pearlberry, but am fairly sure those need pristine water.

Green slimers are cheaper and very hardy when it comes to SPS

Although they don't always grow at a rapid rate, I've found blue torts to be pretty hardy. Growth rate has been hit/miss for me. I had one quite a few years ago that grew well /quick. The one I currently have seems slow, but maintains color and had recently survived some water parameter swings that killed off my monitporas & hyno.

Milliporas also come in a variety of colors and are pretty rapid growers & hardy.
