which to order from?

I've heard wonderful things about LA, but Salt Water Fish had some fish on sale that I wanted. I ordered from Salt Water Fish.com last week. It was the first time I'd ordered fish online anywhere and the experience was great. Their customer service was very responsive via email when I asked about the Sg they'd be shipped at, etc. The fish arrived very well packed with heat packs, and acclimated very well to my QT, they all ate the first time I offered food. One week later and all 3 look great so far...

I'm not a big fan on ordering from Live Aquaria just because nothing is ever in stock. When ever I want to order more than one thing, atleast one thing isn't in stock. I've ordered from SW Fish and I've had nothing but good experiences. I reccommend saltwaterfish.com

 

I would rather go with LA.

SW is a big hassle if you have any problems with your stuff. I am sure Jeremy will chime in about the nightmare he had with them.

LA seems to have healthier better quality livestock in my opinion.

 

blue zoo is high up on my list too

 

+1 for blue zoo. and live aquaria. Have used both many times. Customer service is great at both places.

 

also blue zoo aquatics shipping is free if order is over $140. Usually once a month they run a special free shipping over $99, but I think it was 2 weeks ago. hope this helps

I've never ordered from live aquaria but I got a gift certificate from frag fest for saltwaterfish.com and it was a nightmare. It took three attempts to make my order before they responded. I ordered a bunch of snails and 1/3 of them were dead within 24 hours. Maybe it was just a unique occurance but thought I'd just let you know.

 

La all the way! If you have a problem with a fish they make it right no questions asked.

Another vote for LA or bluezoo. I just got a $15 gift certificate in the mail from LA today, apparently just for being so darn cute! I think it's time to get that cleaner shrimp I've been wanting.

 

I've had only good experiences with both LA and saltwaterfish...buy then I've never lost anything either so never really tested their customer service. Blue zoo looks good too - just haven't tried them yet.
