Hello, I have had my tank set up about two months, and all parameters are good. I have the clownfish in question about 3 weeks. At first when I put him in the tank he kind of just rested and stayed by himself. Since then he has joined the other clownfish in swimming all over the tank. But I have noticed on his bottom fin he has a white clump of fungus that looks almost fluffy like cotton on it. It also looks like there might be a bit on his top fin by the gills. I should mention that the fungus is not on his gills just the fin and the bottom fin. The clown seems to be eating fine and active so I am not sure what it is or how to treat it. I kind of gave him a couple days to see if it would clear up on its own but no such luck. Any ideas? Thank you.

Also, I have tried to get a pic of it but the only thing I have is a cellphone and it was poor quality.

This sounds like what my sailfin tang had when I first got him.  The three "diseases" I was told to look up was cotton disease, Cauliflower, and Lymphocystis.  As I read about all three of them, I decided there was no chemical or medication I could give him.  The way I got the stuff to go away was to do more frequent water changes and it has cleared up and hasn't came back!  I am sure other people here will be able to give you more information too.

Good thing to know Cory! I was wondering about that not too long ago.

I have cleared up diseases on fish before by soaking their food in some garlic. It also strengthens their immune system.
