    they say in the article that it's the whale that inspired Moby Dick, but Moby Dick was a sperm whale! Maybe I'm splitting hairs, but it just bugs me haha. Moby Dick was an aggressive sperm whale that actually sank the whaling ship Essex in 1820.

    The article I read said this was spotted and filmed months ago and is just now being released to the press. There is another one that has been tracked for a few years now.

    I am constantly amazed with what we find out there.

    The one they film and photo and then waited to release the pics was for its safety they didnt want poachers looking in the area for it
