Who is getting excited for the spring fest?

    Several months away but we are already getting excited to go to the spring frag fest. See what treasures we can find and new hobbyist we can meet.

    What is everyone else's favorite part of the frag fest?

    I can not wait!!! I am new to the hobby as of end of Oct. 2013 and am up to 2 75 gal. Tanks and wanting my 3rd,lol. I love everything about the Fest. Especially buying corals.

    Our first frag fest was the Fall 2013 and we really enjoyed it. I have recently taken the position of Vendor Relations Coordinator with GIRS. I am looking forward on working to make sure we have entry of sponsors, vendors and prizes for the future Frag Fest! Love meeting and talking with other fish/reef nerds /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

    I think there are so many great things about our Fests: seeing everyone, Speakers, vendors, all corals,dry goods and fish...SOO many Great things! Probably my favorite though is seeing all the children! Our future hobbyists and conservationists!! I enjoy watching them look at all the eye candy, asking questions and wanting this one and that! But my most Fave is giving them a frag :0) I look forward to hearing at the next Fest, how their frag is doing! Good stuff IMO :0)

    I agree! It's an awesome environment. The last one was my first one to go to and my wife and I wished we had brought my daughter along. It's awesome that you recognize it and pass on neat things like frags to kids. Obviously you know what a gesture like that means not only to the kids but to their parents! Great job at making the Fests so much fun.

    Oh and to answer the question...I am excited!!!!

    I do have a question about frag fest. I am getting ready to buy some fish. Will there be vendors there selling fish or is it mostly corals?

    Booyahs will have some nice clown fish. everyone else will be selling coral

    Beef's Reef at FallFest last Fall had a few fish but unsure if he will have any at SpringFest Kenny

    I haven't seen a lot of discussion in regards to springfest this year, however is there any information on the raffle, I know other fests there was a list of prizes posted...

    Item list is coming soon. Items are being divided up for the two fest this year. I know there are lots of great prizes in there!
