Who uses AI director?

I have one director controlling 4 different tanks total of 10 AIs

 

I use it on two hydra 52s, one tank. It is so easy to use i find myself messing with the app all the time. I can play around on manual mode and instantly switch back to the programmed daily routine.

 

I also have the director. I consider it a must if you are running AI Lights and even more of a must if you have several systems. Easy to use and as long as wifi is good you wont have any issues.

 

I have used the director and I wouldn't even consider the controller they have. The director is much more user friendly. All you need to do is set up each tank separately and discover each light for each setup and name each one. There is a tab in the middle of the operating screen where you can independently control each tank. Also their customer service is awesome. If you run into a snag you can call them and they can pull up your directly and get you steered in the right direction.

 

If you dont close out of the app when done and try to get back into it after awhile it will force shut down and you will have to reopen it. It isnt a big deal and i have zero issues with it once it restarts but it does not want to run in the background for long periods of time. This doesnt occur if you have the phone app open and are using it. Its not a deal breaker. Just a little annoying. I am used to it now.
