I put the last of my GFO in a reactor a couple of weeks ago.  So I'm trying to decide whether to buy more GFO or to try the pellets.  So - a couple of questions.
Those of you that are using pellets and find them beneficial in your system:
What are your nitrate and phosphate levels?
Are you running GFO in addition to the pellets (The Marine Depot article indicated that it might be necessary to run GFO in addition to the pellets in order to get the Phasphate below .05)
Before using the pellets - what were your nitrate & phosphate levels - and then how long did it take to get to your current level??
Who has tried using the pellets and found that it didn't work for them???  What was your experience????
My system is a 75 gal DT with 20g sump.  My nitrates range from 0-10 and my phosphate ranges from .03 (with fresh GFO) to about .06 when I replace it.
    Looking forward to everyone's input!!!!!!
