I finally got around to checking out my new toys.  Realized the gold tint to the reflectors is the protective sheeting.  Common mistake #1 PASSED!  Now with the ballast.   I realize the yellow wire on the workhorse goes on 4 of the end caps.  Opposite of the redwire.   Now, can I put a ring terminal on this yellow wire, then wire each end cap to the ring terminal?
I haven't found a site or pictures that clearly demonstrates how to hook up the yellow wire without it being a cheesy diagram that just shows the yellow wire connecting to all four end caps.

Yes, the ring terminal idea would work.. but, the uninsulated part isn't very neat.
You could pick up something like this to clean up the install (and have everything insulated without using a bunch of tape)...

Strip and push the wire in.. simple as that. I think I've seen 'em on the shelves at places like Home Depot, etc.

Alright, thanks. I know what guage of wire to use and what not, but the diagram reads funny.

I'm not doing anything yet. First I'll need to order the mounting brackets. I didn't think I'd need them, but how the reflectors are curved, I think I will. I was going to do like you said you were going to do yours, Rick. Screw the clips through the reflector to the canopy. I started looking around at different pictures and found a guy who made a frame and mounted the end caps.

I'm just in the planning stages, checking things out, getting exact measurements and so on.

    What's "funny" about it?

Andrew that wiring is straight forward, yes the yellows can all be tied together.

To me, it suggests to yellow wire into all the end caps. Stripping the middle those three spots. Ah...I'm just taking it too literal, that's all.

That's why I asked about the terminal ring. My yellow wire isn't that long.

Don't strip the middle in those spots. That's just how wiring diagrams are. Bring a wire off of each end cap (where it shows the yellow hooking to) and tie them all in to the yellow coming out of the ballast (using a wire nut or something similar (like the "wall nuts" I linked to)).
