I'm not directing this to anyone in particular, but the author makes some very good points about how a person is taken more seriously when they put more emphasis on correct spelling and grammar.  Just something worth considering.

You know, this is a leisure activity.  Nobody expects perfection...but when there's a spell checker on the forum tools, and realize that you're not great at spelling, use the spell checker...ya know?  :)   And that's a general statement...not directed to you Kyle.

    I know AJ!
I must say that the spell checker changes my words on my cell phone a lot and it makes me look like an idiot. I use the Spell checker all the time. To bad there was not a Grammar checker as well. lol

I have an ipad... Slow/tedious. Esp. punctuation.

We live in a world where lax writing skills are becoming more acceptable.

That said, i work in the sciences and strong writing skills are critical. I wish I could show you some of the resumes I've reviewed. Kids cant write. I appreciate the sentiment...
