Looking for any random sps frag. Want to toss it in the tank and make sure I get polyp extension and such with the NEW LEDs. Would hate to be messing with the LED settings ATER I get a bunch of frags at MACNA /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/wink.gif
Cheap, free, whatever. I also have that om-tank tunze 9002 collection cup and skimmer pump for trade should there be interest.

I run LED. One thing i wish i had done was invested in a par meter. But, since i didn't have a meter to measure the old lighting output I started my LEDs at a low level. I think it was about 18%, and up'ed the output once a week by 1 or 2 %. My thought is any drastic change or too quickly is not any good. My experience is most sps takes about a month to really acclimate to your aquariums conditions; and this may make measuring 'coral happiness' through newly set light levels difficult. Especially through polyp extention alone.

BTW, what did you choose for LEDs? DIY's or manufactured? Dimmable, i am guessing?

Sorry i don't have any frags for testing anyway..... /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/sad.gif
