I'm looking for an Apex controller, let me know if you have one for sale. I'm possibly going to sell/trade my MP40 if interested!

Donny, any insight into why they're great controllers? Do you own one or have any personal experience to share? Is there a reason you recommend them?
I know little about them other than they're usually cheaper(depending on what you want it to do) and they're open-sourced. Other than that, not a damn thing. I'll have to look into it, but I owned an Apex a while back and loved it. I understood how it worked and the programming language, plus Neptune's been around a long time and have a very good reputation, there's tons of people with Apex's to talk to if I have a problem, not so much with the Reef Angels.
Things I want to do with my controller:
    1. Monitor/control things with my phone.
    2. Monitor/control temp, ph, orp(also run ozone pump/reactor).
    3. Run calcium reactor via electric solenoid on co2 tank and dosing pump feed.
    4. ATO possibly...
    5. Dose calcium, alkalinity, and also dose my vodka/vinegar and Seachem fuel.
    6. Control lights, I'll need 5 or 6 outlets and I want to get rid of all the digital timers I have now. I might need an extra eb8 or 4.
    7. Control my Tunze controllable pump with Apex's Variable Dimming Modules (separate programs for night/day).
    8. Clean the glass daily!

I do have one. It is programmable. It comes with float switches, it controls pumps, pwm dawn to dusk control, can be controlled by phone with the Wi-Fi attachment which is $99 the controller comes with temp and ph probe.... it only costs $219.... Um basically any info you want is in the forum on the site the people there are very helpful basically say what you want on there and someone will probably have the code to reprogram your unit to do what you want.... it comes with controllable 8 outlet unit... I personally haven't done much with it yet cause as of right now the pre programmed code does what I want.... ato, Skimmer, reactor, pwm led light control, dawn to dusk, wavemaker, feed and water change mode.... ect it does a lot... way more then I have done already..... very very happy with the controller and the forum for it... very helpful.... check out the site and the forum

The construction on those reef angels are, no offense, but junk. Neptune controllers are way more stable, and have great customer service as well. If reef angel was any good, everyone would have em/heard about em...

Actually no they are not junk..... Have you owned one cause if not you have no room to talk..... Ya people have heard of them.... For the money they are way cheaper and can do more then Neptune.... Do your research.... People dont have them cause they are prob scared of the programming part of it..... Not hard at all..... I have never heard of a reef angel messing up..... BUT I have heard of Neptune controllers messing up.... I didnt want to be a follower and took a chance with something new and I couldnt be more pleased with my choice....

Wow...this is going a little off topic...let's let Adam look for his controller and you guys can have it out about Reef Angel vs. Apex in the General forum or something.

Good luck finding an Apex Adam. I've seen a number of them on RC Buy/Sell in the last few weeks...but they go fast.
